I flew out of Terminal 4 this morning, October 22. Security personnel took my knitting yarn, knitting needle, needle protectors and my half-finished sweater. They said that I was not allowed to take "more than 2 m of string" into the UK. I have read your document on prohibited items. Knitting needles and yarn are NOT on the list. It was certainly unnecessary to to take my half-finished garment. I would like those items to be put aside so that my representative can collect them for me.
